明けましておめでとうございます。
たけた駅前ホステルcueのさくらです。
A happy new year 2018.
It is Sakura from Taketa station Hostel cue.
2017年はcueのオープンの年でした。オープンしたばかりにも関わらず、日本国内外本当にたくさんの方にcueに、竹田に来てもらいました。cueの日を楽しみにしてくださっている地元の方もいらっしゃっいます。
心から感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。
Our hostel opened last year. A lot of people not only from Japan but from many countries came to cue. Fortunately there are a lot of local people looking forward to the day of cue.
We appreciate the supports from many people.
さて、みなさんは年越し、年明けをどのように過ごしましたか？
今回cueでは大々的にイベントを計画していたわけではありませんでした。というのも、私たち夫婦が竹田で年を越すのが初めてだったので…。
どんな年越しを竹田でするのか分からなかったというのが正直なところでした。
31日は日本、韓国、中国、ベトナムからのゲストさんもいて、日本の大晦日を満喫。
年越しそばを常連で食べて光西寺さんに除夜の鐘をつきにいって…、静かな年越しでしたが、さすがは小さな竹田の町。途中地元のお友達にもいっぱい会って一緒に過ごした楽しい年越しになりました。
Well, how did you spend the time through the New Year?
This time, we had no plan something to do special. Because it was the first time in Taketa to spend the year for us.
But we enjoyed the new year eve and new year day with the guests. There are guests from Japan, Korea, China, Vietnam.
We ate soba noodles called “Toshikoshi Soba”, and went to Temple to hit the bell called “Jyoya no Kane”. These were the typical Japanese ones.
On the way we met a lot of my local friends and we had a wonderful new year together as well.
元旦は手作りおせちとみんなでお餅つきをしたお餅の入ったお雑煮と振る舞い酒をみんなで一緒に。
年明け温泉はゲストさんと久住へ。阿蘇と久住の山々に今年一年のご挨拶。寒かったけど、定番のソフトクリームも食べました。
On new Year ‘s Day, we ate the special dishes called “Osechi” and “Ozoni” and drunk Japanese sake.
After that, we went to take Onsen with guests to Kuju. We greeted Aso and Kuju mountains with the new year. It was so cold day, but we also ate delicious soft cream.
その後は宿の守り神、神明社さまにお参りして、夜はトランプ、大富豪大会で笑いがいっぱいの年明けとなりました。
2日も3日も温泉ツアーで送迎を出して、ディープな竹田を満喫していただいてます。
Afterwards, we visited the shrine shrine to pray the new year, and we played the trump games with guests until midnight. It was so fun!!
今年の年越しはたくさんの方が竹田を楽しんでもらえるようイベントを企画していきます！
そんなこんなで2018年がスタートです。
月が変わりましたので、こちらのHPからの直予約のみ只今ゴールデンウィーク明けの５月６日までの予約を開始しています！
今年も世界各国からのゲストさんが竹田のファンになってもらえるよう、楽しいことをたくさんやっていきます。

Since the month changed, we accept just booking a reservation directly from HP until May 6th in the Golden Week!
This year we will also do lots of fun things so that guests from around the world can become a fan of Taketa.
